The Flats

Each season, waves of bait migrate into local rivers to spawn. Striped Bass follow, pushing off the river mouths and spreading across the surrounding estuaries and flats. Here, anglers find a rare and dynamic summer fishery tailor-made for shallow-water enthusiasts—crystal-clear sandy flats, expansive grass edges, and wide mud flats where V-wakes slide across a foot of water on a early morning low tide.
